All of your experiences are given to you by the grace of God when the time is right, including surrender, enlightenment, suffering, effort and everything that your destiny requires.
Human helplessness and vulnerability apply equally to enlightened ones, but they have adjusted to the reality of surrender; they play their part in the drama of life with gusto, as simultaneously they just let go and watch the show. Hence buddhas enjoy life free from suffering.
